What happens on installation day

Here's what to expect when the Chillin team arrives: **1. Arrival and setup (15 minutes)** The tech parks, unloads the unit and tools, lays down protective sheeting, and confirms the install location with you. **2. Indoor unit installation (45-60 minutes)** The indoor unit is mounted on the wall bracket, levelled, and secured. A hole is drilled through the wall for the refrigerant piping and condensate drain. **3. Outdoor unit installation (30 minutes)** The outdoor unit is placed on a bracket or pad directly behind the indoor unit. Refrigerant piping and electrical cabling are routed through the wall. **4. Electrical connection (30-60 minutes)** A licensed electrician connects the outdoor unit to your switchboard via a dedicated circuit. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, this adds 30-60 minutes. **5. Commissioning (20 minutes)** The system is vacuumed, refrigerant is released, and the unit is tested for cooling, heating, and drainage. The tech walks you through the remote control and settings. **6. Clean-up (15 minutes)** We clean up all debris, remove protective sheeting, and leave the space as we found it.
